February 2013 Real Estate Activity Report for King County, Seattle, Eastside and Mercer Island

A five year month-to-month comparison of real estate listing and sales activity in the greater Seattle-Eastside region. Incredible low inventory and the resulting very high rate of absorption mean very few home choices available for buyers actively searching for a home. Average market time is a relative term as the market is essentially divided into two segments: those homes that sell immediately with multiple offers and those homes that languish on the market unsold. Location, price, condition, terms, and accessibility are very much key elements of a successful transaction in our marketplace.
